Catterline Arts Festival
The Catterline Arts Festival is a multi-venue exhibition based in the village of Catterline on the North-East coast of Scotland and was held on the last weekend in August. Curated and organised by a local commitee, the festival includes a variety of artforms from photography to paintings, time-based installations to ceramics by invited local, national and international artists and makers. Alongside the displayed works are a number of creative workshops for the audience to also have the opportunity to make aswell as view artwork. An outdoor cafe run by local people raises money for local charities Roxburgh House and CLAN. e-mail Festival commitee was: Iain Irving, Ann Steed, Jon Pengelly, Kate Wood and Volker Gebhard. Previous members: Colleen Magennis Funding comes from generous public donations, 20% commission from sale of works and Kincardine and Deeside Artsforum /Aberdeenshire Council. Thanks to all the artists, all the open house venue owners, Kincardine and Deeside Artforum, The Creel Inn, Rev.
